This material is Long staple cotton is derived from the Gossypium barbadense species of cotton, which yields cotton with unusually long, silky fibers. This species is responsible for well know cotton types such as Egyptian cotton, Pima, Supima and Giza 45. Long staple cotton is the best for weaving quality cotton bed linen fabrics. Sateen is a fabric made using a satin weave structure but made with spun yarns instead of filament. The sheen and softer feel of sateen is produced through the satin weave structure. Warp yarns are floated over weft yarns. All of these natural fibers and weaves have enabled these linens to become our best sellers.
